I read it that way last night but in the end we decided to go with the less hurtful method that says that if the front of your ship starts off the asteroid then you don't roll again.


I'd be inclined to play the same way: if the front of your base is clear of the obstacle, you don't have to roll for it again.

Definitely if the obstacle is large enough to cover the whole base of the model, you'd roll again.
