The way I look at it, the answer is clearly 2.5 turns because I earn more than 1.5 credit/turn on average.
Maybe you play the costly Ninja while I play the cheap Mimic or Pipeline.
I use my credits to install cards and Cyberfeeder to break routines. I don't spend a lot of money pumping my icebreakers. Just a matter of preference I suppose. So I don't need a simhack because in the late game the runs cost me only a couple of credits.
