I would like to share my latest project the construction of my very own Death Star surface to play the new Star Wars Miniatures Game of course inspired by FFGs demo video.
With a sheet of 3'X 3' Plywood I start gluing shapes.....lots and lots of shapes, I looked at pictures for reference but in the end just decided to just let it grow on its own without worrying about trying to replicate anything specific,I just kept in mind angular panels.
Many hours of work later the foundation is laid.
I slowly start to build up using random geometric shapes cut from thick card and press down into the foam using a few objects collected from around the home.
That............................................Death Star...................................is................................................. operational
The many hours of work have been well worth it I can see the miniatures now skimming the surface, all I have to do now is paint it all up.
