It's not parasite proof. It doesn't derez until the end of the turn. If the runner runs and the corp rezs it on an early click, they can put parasite on it. Parasite stays on it after it derezs and keeps accumulating counters. Once it has 2 the next time the corp rezs it it will be trashed immediately.
