I know we had the big storm here in the eastern USA but that was over a week ago and should no longer be anybody's excuse, in my opinion. But maybe that affected things more than we think.
Well, a NorEaster struck yesterday when there were still homes without power.
Gas lines are maybe 3 blocks long (yay - that's less than they were), milk is in short supply, restaurants don't have half of the food on the menus because trucks cant get through, all of the shelters are overflowing with people from destroyed homes, several major areas are still flooded...
No longer anybody's excuse?
I expect this excuse to be viable for another 6-8 weeks before things start to return to normal around here.
@Paul -I wasn't trying to minimize the suffering that you guys are going through up there. Sorry that my words kind of looked like that. What I meant was that my ship will be coming to Baltimore, MD where there was little or no damage from the storm and that I suspect maybe a little more delay from the storm was being blamed than needed. I realize that a lot of people are devastated by it and my prayers as well as some money and supplies my wife and I donated, are on their way!
@MOTH - thanks for the extra defense but everyone has been very cool and I do not feel any heat. The good news is that I have almost made it through my first shipment from China and next time I will know a little more how to run it smoothly.
