I agree with Mageon Implants. They're rediculous. Sure the cost is high, but the benefits are incalcuable. You can felch those tedious AC from your foes, not only strengthening you but diminishing their defense, and there is NO counter. Many games are determined by having a few perfect AC. This tech ensures that the Yssaril will have it every time. I nerfed this tech straight out of the box.

I DON'T agree with the 1X technology. The opportunity cost, plus the relatively low value of high end technologies, makes this a fairly niche tech. Fun, but not OP, IMO. As an aside, Type IV does work on Flagships per the FAQ.

Mirror computing + Trade 2 is not so bad, since the Mentak wont' get Trade 2 all the time. What IS bad is Mirror Computer + Salvage Ops. That's 4 resources every time you fight a battle. Rediculous. But I haven't seen this combo put together yet, so I think the cost is probably high enough to dissuade it's use.

There is no single element to any race, card, objective, ship, technology, or anything that can deliniate victory vs. defeat. So if a race takes these technologies and loses, that does not make the tech fair or balanced. This is a perfunctory and vastly over simplified analysis. IMO.
