20 minutes? Maybe to assemble your ships and pick your squad. I'm quite disappointed in FFG for this highly disingenuous statement of playtime. Played a few 100 point matches. Length between 1.75 and 2.5 hours, NOT including setup time. Our second match was 1.75 hours and we were both making an extremely concerted effort to play fast and not dwell on any single decision for longer than 10-15 seconds.I still enjoy the game, but the notion of this being a quick filler is just BS. I can see some preset scenarios lasting 30 minutes with setup, but theres no way the suggested 100 point squad games come anywhere near. I think FFG should've put 30-120 or 30-90 minutes on the box if it wanted to truly be honest with its customers. My hope in making this post is to help potential new customers be better informed going in. I still enjoy the game as I said, but it's usefulness isnt as high as I'd hoped when I thought it was a 20 minute game pre purchasing it.
