Thread: Merchant of Venus (second edition):: Rules:: Classic Game - Buying Spaceport Deeds

Sorry for all the dumb questions. I've never played MoV before and having two rulesets has confused me a bit.

In the Standard game, if I build/buy a Spaceport, my ship is moved to that Spaceport. In addition, that Spaceport effectively "blocks" access to the Planet City below.

In the Classic game, I buy a Spaceport deed. There is no mention of moving your ship to the Spaceport. I assume, therefore, that it remains on the planet. I assume also that the Spaceport does not "block access" to the Planet City. A player could, therefore, choose to land on the planet rather than use my Spaceport if he so wished.

Have I understood all that correctly?

And now a really stupid question. The rules say:

Rules wrote:

When trading with a culture, the current player may perform a buy action to purchase one of the following[my emphasis]from that culture..."

If I skip my movement phase, I can take unlimited buy/sell actions. I assume that I am not limited to only one type of transaction. If I had sufficient funds, I could buy, Goods, a Factory Deed, a Factory Good, multiple Spaceport Deeds, and equipment all on the same turn.

Thanks again in anticipation.
