Well, I'm glad that I don't have the game all figured out yet, then. That said, Codecracker takes more credits, more clicks, and has a heck of a prereq on it that Infiltration doesn't. You have to make a successful run on HQ, with a corp that already wants to keep you out of HQ moreso than usual (thanks to Gabe's ability and 0 influence Account Siphons).
When I toyed around with the Cracker, my experience was something like: play economy or draw up, run HQ, expose via Cracker, curse the gods because it IS an agenda, and I don't have the credits to run it. Of course, when it turned out to be a Junebug, I was glad not to be tossing my hand, but I was still out roughly the same amount of credits with little recourse if I needed to run again.
You're absolutely right, the game is all about hidden information, which is why Infiltration is a great card for 0, but the Cracker costs as much as running HQ. How do you deal with that limitation? I don't mean that in an argumentative way. If I can get more viable exposure into my decks, I'm more than happy to learn how.
