I played L5R back in the days, and played recently the EE but only online through OCTGN.But I listen and follow the Strange Assembly podcast (go listen the last episode with David Kempe, GenCon 2012 Icebreaker champ) and I follow the game to some point.
Of course there are several builds in several Clans, as with any other games out there. But there are some that break more than others let's face it.
Anyways, I don't much about L5R, as I don't care about any other CCG business-model game. As for LCG, Warhammer: Invasion has severe issues with factions, cards and gameplay and Call of CThulhu is being won by the same person with the same kind of deck for over 4 years, I guess that means something.
Back to Netrunner?! ;)
