I have found that the reward for winning by lasers is 20c and a fame token. The person who finds them loses to them and then nobody goes near them until they can beat them.

EDIT: Holy crap, just re-read the rules to make sure I was right. We've been forgetting to draw a reward card! Now I want to play again.

EDIT AGAIN: Double crap, I also haven't been drawing them when we've completed missions. No wonder we've never drawn a reward card.
